Period Panties: The Game-Changer for Your Cycle

Period Panties: The Game-Changer for Your Cycle

Is period pants a modern solution for your period problems? is what I have been asking myself for a while. And guess what? I actually bought myself some finally instead of just continuing to buy ugly granny pants or regular pants to use as period pants. You may be asking why it’s cheaper. Kind of, but not really. I got tired of having to hand wash blood stains. Omg, so annoying. And sometimes you can still see the blood stain. So, I finally said, Forget and let’s stop procrastinating on buying these underwear. And I got me 7 pairs for $15 or $20. Let’s just say it was well worth it to me.

When I started my period

Here’s a back story. When I first started my period, I was at a friends house, and she only had tampons. Lucky for me, it wasn’t that bad, but she had to instruct me from the other side of the door how to use it because, Lord, I was like, Now where does this go? 😫🤣 But thankful I got it on the second try; the first time I didn’t invert it far enough. And she taught me the wiggle trick to help it move further up so it won’t pop out. From that day on, I was the number one fan of tampons. When I wear tampons, I also sometimes wear pantyliners just in case of a heavy flow.

Now I also use pads, but I dislike the feeling of wearing a pad around. Especially if I had to get out and be active, like going places or even to school. So, that’s really why I became Tampons number one fan. And I would only wear pads when I had no tampon lefties in my basket.

Healthier Alternatives

As I got older and started to try to become more healthier and doing my research for starting this here business I kept coming across many other healthier method but I was to afraid to try them. Like the cup method it sounds wild and uncomfortable but hey you would have to keep spending money. I just never tried that method and still haven’t. I also seen wear the had reusable pads which I thought about. But when I thought about it, i was like nahh i do not want to have a bloody pad in my purse or bag till I get home even though it would have it own protective sleeve. I might still try it in the future.

Are you tired of the hassle of pads and tampons?

Consider switching to period panties. These innovative undergarments are designed to absorb and contain menstrual flow, providing a comfortable and leak-free alternative. Also your pants and the underwear doesn’t get stain, which is all pluses for me. but per research it is advise to still wear a pad or tampons with your period panties. And I haven’t tried to just wear the panties alone. I can say it still lowers your cost of not having to buy pant liners with your tampons.

There Day Experiment

I did also still have a there-day experiment with the period pants after this was my second time wearing them since I bought them. I decided to do it when I noticed that my period was lighter to see how it would be. In the few days of the experience with the leak, it actually wasn’t uncomfortable. Like there was or would be when wearing a pad and you can still feel the blood down there. The only time I would smell anything would be when I would go to the bathroom. Maybe I will try to experiment a whole week next time.

What are Period Panties?

Period panties are similar to regular underwear, but they have a built-in absorbent layer that can hold menstrual flow. They come in various styles and absorbency levels to suit your needs.

Benefits of Period Panties:
* Comfort: Period panties are designed to be comfortable and breathable, so you can go about your day without worrying about discomfort or leaks.
* Convenience: No more fumbling with pads or tampons. Simply put on your period panties and go. But I advise you still should wear a pad or tampon.
* Eco-friendly: Period panties are reusable, which means less waste and a smaller environmental impact.
* Cost-effective: While the initial investment might be higher than disposable products, period panties can save you money in the long run.
* Confidence: Knowing you're protected from leaks can boost your confidence and reduce anxiety.

How to Choose the Right Period Panties:
* Absorbency: Choose the right absorbency level based on your flow. Light flow days may require lighter-absorbency panties, while heavier flow days may need higher-absorbency options.
* Style: Period panties come in various styles, from thongs to high-waisted briefs. Choose a style that feels comfortable and fits your personal preference.
* Material: Look for panties made from breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics. Avoid materials that can irritate your skin.

Care and Maintenance:
* Wash: Wash your period panties in cold water with a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softener, as it can reduce the absorbency of the panties.
* Dry: Air dry your panties to maintain their absorbency. Avoid using high heat in a dryer.
* Replace: While period panties can last for years, it's important to replace them regularly to ensure optimal performance.

Ready to give period panties a try? They're a convenient, comfortable, and eco-friendly alternative to traditional menstrual products. With a variety of styles and absorbency levels available, you're sure to find the perfect pair for your needs. But still wear your pads or tampons with your period panties. It adds an additional protection providing an extra layer of protection, especially during heavy flow days or when you're engaging in activities that might cause leakage.
Along with overnight security adding peace of mind and prevent potential leaks.

Ultimately, the decision of whether to wear tampons or pads with your period panties is a personal one. By understanding the benefits of each option, you can make an informed choice that suits your lifestyle and comfort level.
